Become a Volunteer Steward at Fernhill
Do you love nature, wetlands and wildlife?
We’re building a team of volunteers who will enjoy Fernhill while helping visitors learn what’s happening here. You’ll make friends, get exercise and the benefits of being in nature, teach and learn, maybe even share your talents and expertise at special events.
Volunteers will receive a 4-hour orientation with tasty snacks and lunch. You’ll learn about Fernhill, and we’ll learn from you. Choose from a flexible schedule of 2-hour volunteer shifts. Additional training will be offered for those who want to get more involved in environmental education.
To apply to become a volunteer, please contact volunteer coordinator Jan Curry at firstname.lastname@example.org. Volunteers must pass a background check. For more information about Fernhill, please visit fernhillnts.org
Attention: The next orientation will be on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The training will begin at Clean Water Services headquarters at 2550 SW Hillsboro Hwy and end at Fernhill. Please complete and submit the application form and contact Jan Curry to reserve your place in the training.
