Do you love nature, wetlands and wildlife?

Volunteer Program

We’re building a team of volunteers who will enjoy Fernhill while helping visitors learn about water treatment and wildlife. You’ll make friends, get exercise and the benefits of being in nature, teach and learn, and share your talents and expertise at special events.

Volunteers participate in a 4-hour orientation with snacks and lunch provided. You’ll learn about how we clean water and provide valuable habitat at Fernhill. Choose from a flexible schedule of 2-hour volunteer shifts. Monthly meetings offer volunteers a chance to get project updates, learn new skills and connect with other volunteers.

To apply please contact volunteer coordinator Jan Curry at fernhillvsp@gmail.com. Volunteers must pass a background check.
